Planetary Series VIII. My annual collection that I love creating. From the cut and polish of these cabochons, to the hand drawn planetary elements, and all the hand cut and formed sterling and copper pieces. Seven pieces in this series.

Hand formed, sawed, and soldered....

Materials:
Sterling Silver and copper elements 
Stone, cabochon: Moss Agate 

Technique:
Earrings: I hand cut and polished this gorgeous Moss Agate cabochons. I hand cut the sterling silver and copper comet dangles. I added tiny small torched sterling granules comets. I hand cut an abstract star pattern on the back of the cabochon setting. Hand cut and formed sterling posts. 
All connections are soldered for strength and longevity. 
Patina/oxidation has been added to the pendant.

Measurements:

Earrings a touch over 2 3/4 inches in length from the top of the post to end point of the dangle. 

Weight: 0.2 1/2 and ounce per earring, 0.5 an ounce total.
