Hand formed, sawed, and soldered....

Inspirations: 
Simple minimalist setting to highlight the beautiful matrix on this turquoise stone. 

Materials:
Sterling Silver and copper bail 
Stone, cabochon: Kingman Turquoise. Stabilized, backed, and not dyed. 
Necklace strand: Sterling Silver 

Technique: 
Pendant: I hand cut the sterling silver setting and individually soldered a hand formed copper bail to the setting. I also hand cut a botanical pattern  on the back of the pendant. 
All connections are soldered for strength and longevity. 
Patina/oxidation has been added to the pendant. 

Measurements:
Necklace, sterling silver, bead chain, 18 inches in length 
Pendant length: 2 1/4 inches in length. a touch under 3/4 of an inch at the widest part.
