Planetary Series VI. My annual Summer collection that I love creating. From the cut and polish of these cabochons, to the hand drawn planetary elements, and all the hand cut and formed sterling and copper pieces. Seven pieces in this series.

Materials:
Sterling Silver 
Stone, cabochon:  Charoite

Technique:
Pendant: I hand cut and polished this gorgeous Charoite cabochon. I hand cut the sterling silver setting. The setting has two layers of hand cut sterling elements. I also hand cut the abstract shooting stars/comets on the the back of the pendant.
All connections are soldered for strength and longevity.
Patina/oxidation has been added to the pendant.

Measurements:
Necklace: Sterling Foxtail 20 inches in length. 
Pendant: a touch under 2 inches in length and a touch under 1 3/8 inches in width.
