One of a kind, wearable piece of art, hand cut, polished and soldered....

This is an incredible, Kingman Turquoise cuff. Gorgeous matrix and color on this cabochon. Many hours were lovingly spent on this cuff to create this botanical bracelet. he design was inspired by William Morris textiles of the Arts and Crafts era. Multiple sections and layers were individually soldered to the cuff sections. A lot of sterling silver was used to create this beautiful cuff. 

Materials:
Sterling Silver
Stone: Kingman Turquoise - stabilized (backed)
Copper and sterling accents

Technique:  
I hand formed this cuff using thick, sterling silver triangle wire. The sterling silver cuff was soldered and then hand formed on a mandrel. I added hand cut sterling and copper pieces to the setting....all individually soldered; as well as copper elements to the sides of the cuff. Copper granules were also added to the ends of the cuff bands. 
I hand cut a leaf design on the backside of the sterling base.
A patina has been added to enhance the textures on this cuff.
The open cuff structure is very comfortable to put on, wear, and slightly flexible. 

Measurements:
Stone Setting: 2 inches in length by a touch over 1 1/2 inches in width. 
Cuff: Approximately 5 3/4 inches in circumference-not including the 1 inch opening.
2 1/8 inches (inner measurement) across the cuff at the widest point.
1 7/8 inches from the top cuff to the opening of the cuff. 
1 inch opening
