Handmade, sawed, and soldered....One of a kind.

Inspirations:
Highlighting the unique patterns within this beach stone cabochon. I created a modernist inspired setting to showcase this beautiful cabochon.

Materials:
Sterling Silver
Stone, cabochon: Beach stone, Jasper - rock hounded near the southern coast of Oregon. 

Technique: I rock hounded and polished this beach stone into a cabochon.
Hand cut Sterling Silver pendant, setting base. Hand formed and hand cut bezel setting.
I hand cut a mid century inspired pattern on the back of the pendant setting.
Hand formed sterling oblong jump ring dangles. All soldered.
I added a patina-oxidation to the pendant to enhance the textures on the setting.

Measurements:
Sterling 2.6 mm Rolo necklace chain - 20 inches
Pendant: 2 3/4 inches in length, 7/8 of an inch in width.
