Handmade, sawed, and soldered....One of a kind.

Inspirations:
inspired by the elements of the Arts and Crafts era of the late 19th century. Gorgeous matrix and sea foam blue color on this cabochon. I created a sterling frame to showcase this beautiful cabochon.

Materials:
Sterling Silver 
Stone, cabochon: Tree Frog Variscite - stabilized - not dyed - backed for stability.

Technique:
Cabochon, ring base: Hand cut Sterling Silver ring base. Hand formed and hand cut bezel setting. Hand formed and cut botanical sterling elements - 2 layers - that frame the cabochon setting. 
I hand cut an abstract botanical pattern on the back of the ring setting.
Hand formed, half round ring shank - band.
I added a patina-oxidation to the ring base to enhance the textures on the setting.
This ring can not be resized.

Measurements:
Ring band: width: 4mm in width.
US Ring band size: size 8
Ring setting: a touch over 1 1/2 inches in length, a touch under 3/4 of an inch at the widest point.  

I do my best to take accurate color pictures. Please keep in mind that colors will vary slightly from monitor to monitor.
