Hand formed, drilled, soldered and hammered....One of a kind.

Wonderful dangle movement, hand fabricated hoops and chains, dangle earrings. Inspired from nature during one of my trail runs: Garrya flavescens known by the common name ashy silktassel. The plant is native to the southwestern United States, and Baja California, Sonora, and Chihuahua in Mexico.

Materials:
Sterling Silver
Beach Stones

Technique: 
Each sterling silver wire hoop and chains is hand formed and soldered.
Each sterling silver ear wire on these earrings has been soldered for strength and stability.  
I hand drilled beach stones that I rock hounded on the Oregon coast. 
I added a patina to highlight the textures of the hammered metal.
 
Measurements:
Ear wires: 20 gauge - 1 inch in length
Total length: a touch over 3 3/8 inches-from top of ear wire to the end point of the longest sterling chain. 5/8 of an inch in width. 

Weight per earring. 0.2 1/2 of an ounce. Total weight of both earrings: 0.5 of an ounce.
