Planetary Series VII. My annual collection that I love creating. From the cut and polish of these cabochons, to the hand drawn planetary elements, and all the hand cut and formed sterling and copper pieces. Eight pieces in this series.

Hand formed, sawed, and soldered....

Materials:
Sterling Silver and copper elements 
Stone, cabochon: Rutilated Quartz 

Technique:
Ring: I hand cut and polished these gorgeous Rutilated Quartz cabochon. I hand cut the sterling silver setting. I added tiny small copper granules on both side of the ring shank near the setting. Hand cut abstract star pattern on the back of the setting. 
All connections are soldered for strength and longevity. 
Patina/oxidation has been added to the pendant.

Measurements:

Ring: a touch over 3/4 of an inch in diameter. Size 7
