Hand forged, drilled, soldered and hammered....One of a kind.

This design is inspired by the geometric shapes from nature. Sterling Silver with copper accents. 

Materials:
Sterling Silver
Copper
Beach Stones

Technique: 
Each sterling silver wire is hand formed and hammered.
Each sterling silver ear wire on these earrings has been soldered for strength and stability. 
Hand cut and hammered copper discs have been individually soldered to the sterling hoops. Hand cut sterling and copper discs were added as elements to the hoops. 
I hand drilled beach stones that I rock hounded at a beach in Brookings, Oregon. 
I added a patina to highlight the textures of the hammered metal.

Measurements:
Ear wires: 20 gauge - 1 inch in length
Total length: 2 1/4 inches in length-from top of ear wire to the end of the beach stone. Hoops are 3/4 of an inch in width at the widest point.


Weight per earring. 0.1 of an ounce. Total weight of both earrings: 0.2 of an ounce.
