Hand forged, drilled, soldered and hammered....One of a kind.

Simple modernist style, hand fabricated ladder, geometric hoop earrings. Hand formed in sterling silver and copper.

Materials:

Technique: 
Each sterling silver wire is hand formed and hammered.
Each sterling silver ear wire on these earrings has been soldered for strength and stability. Hand cut and drilled sterling silver and copper discs. Tiny elemental, hand torched rivets have been added to each large copper disc. 
I hand drilled beach stones that I rock hounded near the Central Coast of California. 
I added a patina to highlight the textures of the hammered metal.

Measurements:
Ear wires: 20 gauge - a touch over 1 inch in length
Total length: a touch under 2 5/8 inches-from top of ear wire to the end point of the beach stone.

Weight per earring. 0.2 of an ounce. Total weight of both earrings: 0.4 of an ounce.
