Inspirations:
Beautiful river rock stone cabochon. I created a simple setting to showcase this beautiful cabochon.

Materials:
Sterling Silver
Stone, cabochon: River rock, Agate/quartz - rock hounded near the river edge of the Rogue River in Oregon 

Technique: I rock hounded and polished this river rock into a cabochon.
Hand cut Sterling Silver pendant, setting base. Hand formed and hand cut bezel setting.
I hand cut a botanical pattern on the back of the pendant setting.
Hand formed sterling bail.
I added a patina-oxidation to the pendant to enhance the textures on the setting.

Measurements:
Sterling beaded necklace chain - 18 inches
Pendant: a touch under 1 1/2 inches in length, 3/4 of an inch in width. 

I do my best to take accurate color pictures. Please keep in mind that colors will vary slightly from monitor to monitor.
