Handmade, sawed, and soldered....One of a kind.

This one was difficult to photograph. But you can see the golden needle-like inclusions, commonly nicknamed "Venus' hair stone looking at the outside, natural light picture. 

Inspirations:
I created a simple setting to showcase this gorgeous and unique cabochon.

Materials:
Sterling Silver
Stone, cabochon: Rutilated Quartz

Technique: I cut and polished this gorgeous Rutilated Quartz cabochon.
Cabochon, ring base: Hand cut Sterling Silver ring base. Hand formed and hand cut bezel setting.
I hand cut an abstract quartz point pattern on the back of the ring setting.
Hand formed, half round ring shank - band.
I added a patina-oxidation to the ring base to enhance the textures on the setting.
This ring can not be resized.

Measurements:
Ring band: 8mm gauge 
US Ring band size: size 8
Ring setting: 7/8 of an inch in diameter. 

I do my best to take accurate color pictures. Please keep in mind that colors will vary slightly from monitor to monitor.
