Handmade, sawed, and soldered....One of a kind.

Inspirations:
Part of my specimen series. This beautiful clam shell ring has a simple setting to showcase this gorgeous treasure.

Materials:
Sterling Silver
Cabochon: Clam shell 

Technique: I cut and polished this gorgeous clam shell that I found on the coast of North Carolina. 
Cabochon, ring base: Hand cut Sterling Silver ring base. Hand formed and hand cut bezel setting.
I hand cut an abstract shell pattern on the back of the ring setting.
Hand formed, double half round ring shank - band.
I added a patina-oxidation to the ring base to enhance the textures on the setting.
This ring can not be resized.

Measurements:
Ring band: width: 6mm
US Ring band size: 7
Ring setting: 1 3/8 x 7/8 inches

I do my best to take accurate color pictures. Please keep in mind that colors will vary slightly from monitor to monitor.
