Hand formed, sawed, and soldered....

Inspirations: 
I played with the geometric patterns of this crazy lace agate stone that inspired me to create with sterling and copper metalwork to frame this pendant.

Materials:
Sterling Silver and Copper elements 
Stone, cabochon: Crazy Lace Agate 
Necklace: Leather 

Technique:  

Stone: I hand cut and polished this beautiful agate stone. 
Pendant: I hand cut the sterling silver setting and individually soldered sterling and copper elements to the setting in multiple layers and sections. All hand cut and formed copper and sterling elements. An abstract pattern was hand cut on the back of the setting of the pendant.
All connections are soldered for strength and longevity. 
Patina/oxidation has been added to the pendant. 

Measurements:
Necklace, leather with copper attachments and sterling silver hand formed clasp - a touch over 18 1/4  inches in length 
Pendant length: a touch over 2 inches in length. 7/8 of an inch at the widest part.
